FMAS Examination Instructions
The breakup of the marks is as follows:
A. Theory Examination - 75 marks
1) 60 MCQ questions 60 Marks - One Hour
(surgeons and Gyne seperate papers)
2) 15 Quiz questions (Video/photo/single answer) 15 Marks -15 Minutes
B. Paper Publication - 5 marks
C. Viva -10 marks
D. Skills Assessment -10 marks.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Should have passed MS/DNB (Gen Surg) or
- MD/MS/DGO/DNB (ObGyn) (MCI recognised).
- Minimum 1 year experience after DGO
- Should be performing basic laparoscopic procedures independently. Should have attended at least 1 skill course in the past two years (only if the candidate is not attending the current one).
- Should be a Member of AMASI or should apply for new membership.
120 candidates on first come first serve basis (including both surgeons from broad & super speciality and gynecologisis) for FMAS examination only.
